- Individual Psychotherapy - We help individuals to identify their concerns and issues, and identify strategies to help cope with and manage these challenges, and to grow and thrive.
- Couples Therapy - We work with adults who experience difficulties in their relationship, helping them to build stronger connections and to help their relationships grow and thrive.
- Stress Management/Positive Psychology - We live in a world full of stressors that negatively impact our work, health, relationships, and overall well-being. We help individuals manage the things they can control and to develop skills to reduce the impact of many of life’s stressors.
- Psychological Testing - As part of an assessment and diagnosis, we administer and interpret psychological tests.
How We Do This
We need first to understand what exactly is troubling you. Afterwards, we will work together to develop the best treatment approach for you. We value listening. Before deciding a treatment approach, we consider your unique circumstances and what will help you achieve the changes you want.

The first session is like having a conversation. We will talk to you about your referral, the current issues you are experiencing, and how you’ve dealt with these in the past. We’ll ask about any previous experience of counselling or seeing a Psychologist and what that was like for you. We’ll explore how you usually deal with difficulties, what’s been helpful and what’s not been helpful. We’ll also talk with you about what you can expect from us and what you can expect in future sessions
Psychologists are bound by a Code of Ethics. This Code clearly sets out the issues and limits of confidentiality. We have a copy of this Code you can look at if you need to. There are some situations in which we are legally required to break confidentiality. This includes if you threaten to harm someone, or are at risk of harming yourself. It also includes responding to a Court Subpoena for copies of file notes. If we do receive a subpoena for our notes we discuss this with you and we review the file notes to ensure that our notes are appropriate for release to the Court. We also provide a letter stating our concerns and restricting access only to those who need to see them.
These are issues we are happy to discuss further with you to address any concerns you might have.
